For some teachers, the COVID-19 pandemic meant facilitating lectures and discussions via a Zoom virtual meeting. For others, the logistics of virtual teaching has proven to be a great deal more complicated. “Most of what I teach is hands-on,” Crabtree said. “Our students have to learn how all the equipment in the room works, how to collaborate with others in the control room, and how to work with musicians during a recording session.”
