The terrific artwork by the veteran Allred team  accompanies Horton’s skillful writing for a fantastic journey through David Jones/Bowie’s life and career, beautifully capturing his transformations and his influence. Panels and text presenting relationships and interactions with Marc Bolan, Iggy Pop, New York Dolls, Lou Reed, Ian Hunter and more are gorgeously rendered and compellingly written. It’s a joy for any rock & roll fan. And don’t overlook its companion coloring book!     –Fuxsia Black
